VISION: To promote improvement in the health status of Stanislaus County residents.

MISSION: The mission of the Council on Promoting Health and Well-Being is to support programs that emphasize prevention and education in the delivery of health services.

OUTCOMES:

  • Support substance abuse prevention and intervention
  • Support the elderly, people with disabilities, children and youth
  • Provide pathways to wellness through health education

    OBJECTIVE: To promote and increase programs that enhance health & prevent disease.

  • Increase the number of programs that provide access and outreach for culturally diverse communities focusing on diabetes, dental care, substance abuse, eating disorders, body image and acceptance and healthy diet.
