Best RV Center, Turlock, gives back to customers in Stanislaus County and throughout California
Best RV Center in Turlock proves their generosity lives on even after the holidays. “The new year often brings a new set of needs for struggling families” shared Francine DiCiano, President and CEO of United Way of Stanislaus, the United Way chapter spearheading this state-wide campaign.
January 2019 marks the fourth year Best RV Center will partner with United Way of Stanislaus County to improve the quality of life for local residents and families. Best RV Center will donate $100 for each vehicle sold during the month of January. “Their generosity is especially helpful to local families at this time each year. During this time our 2-1-1-call center sees an increase in requests for help with basic needs like housing, utility assistance and food. Through our work in the community and the call center we know more people are in crisis during the winter months” said Francine DiCiano, President and CEO of United Way, Stanislaus County.
2-1-1 is a free 24/7 service, connecting callers to vital services such as food, shelter, clothing, child care, employment, utility, legal assistance and more. The funds raised through the partnership with Best RV Center will support 2-1-1 and local programs in alignment with Focus on Prevention that help individuals and families thrive in Stanislaus County. Best RV is not only touching local families with their generosity, their donation has the potential to reach individuals in all regions of California through participating United Ways. $100 will be donated for each vehicle purchased and will be given to the participating United Way in the buyer’s hometown. Buyers from all over the state can buy in Turlock and have their donation make a difference close to home.
Continuing their spirit of giving, Best RV will have free food and entertainment, with a taco truck and live radio broadcasts on-site every weekend in January. United Way of Stanislaus County staff will also be on-site to greet customers and provide information how United Way of Stanislaus County is making a difference in the community.
